Project scope
A frozen and burst supply pipe in an exterior wall was causing significant water damage to the home.
Work completed:
- Emergency shutoff of affected zone
- Access the damaged pipe section
- Replace damaged piping
- Pressure test the repair
- Assess for additional frozen sections
Approach
We responded promptly to contain the water, made an access point in the affected wall, replaced the damaged section with properly insulated pipe, and tested the system. We also checked other vulnerable sections for freeze risk.
Installed components:
- Replacement copper pipe section
- Pipe insulation on vulnerable sections
- Access panel for future inspection
